Industrial steam generation follows a similar process as the electricity generation on a CSP plant.

How does steam generation operate?

Parabolic troughs heat up a heat transfer fluid. This fluid is pumped to an evaporator, where steam is produced through heat exchange with the heat transfer fluid coming from the solar field.

This steam fulfil lots of application within the industry needs.

Main components

Solar Troughs: Its function is to concentrate the radiation and heat a heat fluid trasnfer. Depending on the type and size of the project a different trough will be used.

For installations that require large amounts of steam, a large land will be needed. Int this case the proper trough is Solúcar TR .

In case the steam requieremten are médium, PT1 y RMT troughs Hill be installed depending on the characteristics of the installation.
