Type of Project:Integrated Solar Combined Cycle (ISCC) plant with a capacity of 470 MWe of which 20 MWe is supplied from a solar thermal trough system.

Location: Ain-Ben-Mathar, Morocco

Client: Office National de l’Ectricite (ONE)

Abengoa will build this ISCC plant. It has a total capacity of 470 MWe of which 20 MWe will be supplied from a solar trough system. The solar collector area for this system is 45.4 acres (183,000 m²). Abengoa Solar will collaborate with other Abengoa companies to engineer and design the solar field.

The turn-key project agreement was signed with the Moroccan firm ONE.
